Category B Infectious Substances Packaging Models

Packaging for substances in this Category must meet the triple packaging regulations of IATA (for air shipments) and DOT (for domestic ground shipments. In general, the required triple packaging includes: leak-proof primary receptacle(s); leak-proof 95 kPa (14psi) secondary packaging; absorbent material of sufficient quantity to absorb the entire contents of the primary receptacle(s); and a properly labeled outer shipping carton.

Each Model will protect your specimen from damage during shipment and will maintain the required temperature for any specimen which is temperature sensitive.
